Cook Clan vs. ALS: Superbowl
Well, folks, Sunday was a dissapointing day for the Cook clan. We felt certain that the Bears were gonna take it all. And, in the end, Grossman let us all down. Highlights of the game included Grossman dropping the ball, falling down, and lobbing the ball over the heads of receivers, not to mention throwing directly to the other team.
Dad is calling for Grossman's jersey, as are many Bears fans. I heard one reporter put it well... Grossman was the quaterback on a team built for the Super Bowl... Grossman didn't take the Bears to the Super Bowl, they took him. At the end of the day, I too would like to see Grossman canned but who knows what is in store for us next season. I'm hoping for a few months respite from hearing all the criticism of the Bears and second go at the championship next year, with or without Rexy.
Still, we had a great day spent in our Bears garb, lounging around, hollering, and of course, eating. Nan and I planned a little pre-game show and pre recorded it for dad. As soon as I can get the video uploaded, I'll post it here. Check back early next week.
